Safe Working Conditions & Power Access
For insurance, staff safety and vehicle safety reasons, Deets UK Detailing will not commence work on any vehicle located on a road considered busy, unsafe or dangerous. We also cannot carry out work in pay and display car parks unless this has been agreed during the booking process. If safe access or power is not available upon arrival, the booking may be cancelled and charges may apply. Customers must provide access to a standard power socket so that we can connect our extension lead to carry out the service.
Deposits
A £50.00 deposit is required to secure your booking unless otherwise stated, the deposit amount will be agreed at the time of booking and must be paid before the appointment is confirmed.
The deposit amount will be deducted from the final invoice on the day of the service.
if the booking is cancelled by the customer more than 24 hours before the appointment, the deposits may be refunded in full at the discretion of Deets UK Detailing.
If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment or we cannot complete the work due to unsafe conditions or lack of access, the deposit may be retained as part of the cancellation fee.
By paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Payments
Full payment must be made on the same day once the work has been completed. We accept both card and cash payments. All prices are subject to confirmation upon inspection of the vehicle. Prices listed on any website, advertisement, or promotional material are guide prices only and may vary depending on the condition and size of the vehicle.
Additional Charges
If a vehicle interior is heavily soiled (including but not limited to mud, excessive pet hair, mold, vomit, or blood), additional charges may apply. Customers are advised to send photos of the vehicle prior to booking if any of these conditions apply so that an accurate estimate can be provided. If this information is not provided beforehand, the final price will be agreed upon inspection before any work begins.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If we arrive at the booking location and cannot complete the work due to unsafe working conditions, lack of access to the vehicle, lack of access to power, or same-day cancellation, the full booking amount may be charged.
Vehicle Condition Disclaimer
Deets UK Detailing will always take care when working on your vehicle. However, we cannot be held responsible for any pre existing damage including scratches, dents, worn paintwork, loose trim, damaged upholstery, or previously weakened components. Any areas of concern noticed during the initial inspection may be pointed out to the customer before work begins.
Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings and valuables from their vehicle before the appointment. While every effort will be made to safely handle items found during cleaning, Deets UK Detailing cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Agreement to Terms
By making a booking with Deets UK Detailing, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. If payment is not made following completion of the service or applicable cancellation fees, an invoice will be issued to the email and/or address provided at the time of booking. Failure to pay may result in further action to recover the outstanding balance.
